Your Health, Their Profit

Priceless Possession

You ever notice that we get bombarded about drugs promising to lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, or temporarily overcome erectile dysfunction.

We are taught that drugs are the way to make things better when in fact many times they harm our bodies to “fix” symptoms. Take a moment one day to just sit down and watch commercials. When you see any on drugs turn up the volume and listen to the list of side effects – sometimes as severe as damage to heart, liver, or kidneys.

I was put on a drug to help my asthma. Thankfully I stopped using it after my wheezing cleared. Recently I saw a commercial about that same drug and the quiet talk stated that it “increases asthma related death” WHY WAS I PRESCRIBED A DRUG THAT WOULD INCREASE MY CHANCES OF DYING FROM WHAT IT WAS TRYING TO FIX?

I had another incident of having severe bronchitis. I went to my pulmonologist who gave me 3 prescriptions. At the time I also just started with Isotonix OPC-3. Within 2 weeks I could stop all my meds as my chest cleared completely. At my follow up my doctor was most impressed with how well I improved. I use OPC-3 every morning on an empty stomach and now don’t have any allergy or asthma issues! My mom’s arthritic swelling has gone down!

The other commercials that bother me are for liquid meals. Instead of promoting nutrient filled meals, companies would prefer that we, the consumers, drink a highly processed meal as opposed to an actual meal. Why do we let these companies program us?

The most ironic part is that organic nutrient rich pet food is a growing trend. One commercial even stated that the pet is “one of the family”… so why do many parents feel it is ok to regularly feed children low nutrient fast food and sugar rich foods. Basically then with this line of thinking, a pet is more important than a child?

Considering these facts

  • “64-69% of the Americans take supplements”
  • “nearly half the world’s population suffers from Vitamin D deficiency”
  • “liposuction is now the leading form of plastic surgery in the United States”
  • “35.3% of Americans are overweight” (I’m tired of hearing about diabetes and obesity)

Why don’t we as a people insist on change?

As a nutraMetrix Consultant I talk with health professionals about implementing customized wellness programs. A few I have spoken to have told me that they “don’t believe in supplements” or “there is no proof that these work”.

Isotonix supplements are the same pressure as your bodily fluids. These absorb into your body within 5 minutes of ingestion. NutraMetrix has DNA analysis which can pin point exactly what you as a patient gets a wellness regimen specific for you. We have lifestyle weight loss programs with TLS consultants who work within the practice so that the progression is overseen by a doctor.

Contact your your doctor and those of your loved ones and connect them with NutraMetrix Consultants in your area. If you don’t know any NutraMetrix Consultants contact me, I’ll get one to contact you. Or if you are interested in learning more about NutraMetrix or TLS (Transition Lifestyles) contact me.

Wouldn’t you prefer that your neighborhood health professional bring health and wellness to the community? Or would you rather drug companies gain from your dis-ease?

Go together Make a Difference

A friend of mine says she needs to unplug because “social media is a machine” and. On “YouTube to Twitter… to my blogs and vlogs… rotation fb and discussion” she started receiving death threats and angry comments after which she blocked comments. She said all posts were beneficial and that she had “many followers”. I know that her posts (those that I saw/read) were interesting, but it was just about her.

What I want to know is what is the purpose of social media if not to engage? How does one effectively use Social Media to engage people? How does one find the people of their tribe? In my case the passionate people who want to make a difference in their community.

I’m tired of reading articles and being marketed on how to gain thousands of followers. I’m not looking for followers. I’m looking for equals. I’m looking for People who not only read/watch what I may post but who also link thoughts, brainstorm and truly connect.

The internet has made the world much smaller by connecting people who probably would never have met otherwise, but how many people seem to use the internet is like a tv – very one sided like the news anchor telling a story. The audience is passively just listening.

How do people like #EllenDegeneres get so many of her people to talk with her? #Ellen is one of my favorite people. Her followers engage with her and are recognized sometimes to the point that she calls them or invites them to her show. I would love a relationship with my tribe.

How do I find passionate people who want to make a difference in their community and who would like to join me in leading others to become leaders?

Desires and Fear

Desires and Fear

When one begins a new endeavor there is a passion, an energy, a calling. However, within a few weeks another feeling come into play… Fear. A few fears are that someone will criticize, that you may fail, or that people will turn against you. The fear that I battle with every day is the fear of succeeding – growing away from the friends that I have and them resenting me, having new responsibilities when I’m finally understanding and feeling comfortable with the ones I have, and feeling isolated.

The rational part of my brain is looking at these reasons and worked through them – many of my friends are struggling, so I either need to set a successful example or I need a new set of people to associate with. I enjoy challenges and when I work for someone else I relish in giving myself new responsibilities. And I am around people for half of the day who enjoy my company and me just for being me – these are the swim parents, PTSA moms and music parents.

I desire to change the world and have my name be known… not so much me but my name. I want to help the next generation to be aware of better ways to live their lives and reach their dreams. I want to inspire people to LIVE BIG! I want to be known as the person who enjoys helping people and makes a positive difference in others lives. I want to be known as the person who gives others an honest opportunity and works with them to succeed. I want to be know as the person who builds large royalty incomes for non profit organizations while helping health professionals, veterinarians, business owners, entrepreneurs, financial planners, and budding artists earn a secondary income while enhancing their current occupations.

What are your desires? What are the fears that stop you from moving towards those desires? May I help?
