Non-Profit Fundraising and SHOWING MY BRILLIANCE

I work with non-profit organizations reward their supporters while fundraising. The program is part of what Amazon Smiles does but it also has a point system that leverages the community’s normal spending.Today I got to speak to a new non-profit who’s focus is helping women with cancer. Right now they are working on the Cinderella Project which helps girls with cancer be able to attend prom with donated dresses. Very worthy cause! From that meeting I got a referral and forever business┬áthinking I told her that we should start up her group first then sponsor the referred church so that her group would have the leverage of the second group. YAY!

Do you ever just feel like you are doing what you are supposed to be doing with your life? I noticed that when I get to present, train new distributors and office staff of Non-profits and Health Professionals, and work the business with business minded individuals I feel a kinda buzz within. I feel alive and purposeful! I LOVE THAT!

Yesterday I got to talk with GMYS decision maker and they are launching a new website. I will have to write up the code to link their site up with their fundraising site (thank goodness that I learned how to program all those years ago!). I also have to write up templates of announcing the fundraising site. Once I get these items completed I have a system that new NPOs will be able to follow!

Later today I have a networking event with “over 200 Miami professionals”. I’m looking forward to this event! The other thing is that last week I had an event and someone wanted to talk to me about the business. As it turned out he was sick from the Thursday until Sunday, so he contacted me this morning and set up a quick appointment for 6p right before the event! I’m excited to talk with him.

A prospect contacted me about changing her presentation tomorrow morning to Thursday. The wonderful thing about this meeting is that she wants me to present to her and 2 other people who are interested in starting a business. The cool thing is that one is from Jamaica and the other is from England! Thankfully my company operates in both countries and delivers to over 200. If you are open to learn more about the company, contact me!

Me and My Goal Board

Me and My Goal Board

Do you have an idea of what it is you want? Not how much money you would like, but what would you be/do/have if you had the money. This is my main goal board. It is over my bed so that it is the first thing I look at in the morning and the last thing I focus on before I fall asleep. Over time some pictures get covered by “better pictures”.

I would recommend taking some time, find pictures from online, magazines, brochures, etc and put together your goal board. Make it a fun activity and don’t limit yourself.

You have goals in life. Don’t let someting like inconvenience hold you back. Dream BIG and move towards it AT ALL COST!

What is your “Why”?

Today was another Fantastic Day. I found 3 people who are interested in certain aspects of my business and want me to contact them. Then I got to spend most of the day at the second day of Conference! I got to reconnect with friends whom I haven’t seen since International Conference in August. Being that Conference is going on by the time I come home and get ready for bed before typing my blog may seem a bit too impersonal. Please just read and get the message and I promise by next weekend you will “see” my happy bubbly self again. I’m just suffering Brain Fry with SO MUCH Info being crammed in my head at Conference.

The reason that I brought all that up is that I won’t be able to go on the last day because my son has his first meet of the season and he needs qualifying times. Someone told me that there was NO reason BIG Enough to miss a day. I have been thinking about that. My son is the reason that I’m with this company. He was the driving force for me learning what I know and specializing in nMx. He also listens to my presentations and talks to people about contacting me for more time and financial freedom. He is my Why!

Today I was talking to a friend and we brought up closings. After telling her our #1 money earner’s close “How soon would you like to be making money with this company?”, but what if the person isn’t motivated by money? I said the best close that I use is “Whose dream are you working towards?” As a marketer my goal is to find out what the person wants or needs, and then give them the solution.

Being that most people have just been lulled by the ins and outs of going to work, coming home, watching tv and going to bed, repeat not many┬áhave really stopped to think “What is your why for living?“, “What are you passions?” and “What makes you get up excited in the morning?
