Non-Profit Fundraising and SHOWING MY BRILLIANCE

Non-Profit Fundraising and SHOWING MY BRILLIANCE

I work with non-profit organizations reward their supporters while fundraising. The program is part of what Amazon Smiles does but it also has a point system that leverages the community’s normal spending.Today I got to speak to a new non-profit who’s focus is helping women with cancer. Right now they are working on the Cinderella Project which helps girls with cancer be able to attend prom with donated dresses. Very worthy cause! From that meeting I got a referral and forever business thinking I told her that we should start up her group first then sponsor the referred church so that her group would have the leverage of the second group. YAY!

Do you ever just feel like you are doing what you are supposed to be doing with your life? I noticed that when I get to present, train new distributors and office staff of Non-profits and Health Professionals, and work the business with business minded individuals I feel a kinda buzz within. I feel alive and purposeful! I LOVE THAT!

Yesterday I got to talk with GMYS decision maker and they are launching a new website. I will have to write up the code to link their site up with their fundraising site (thank goodness that I learned how to program all those years ago!). I also have to write up templates of announcing the fundraising site. Once I get these items completed I have a system that new NPOs will be able to follow!

Later today I have a networking event with “over 200 Miami professionals”. I’m looking forward to this event! The other thing is that last week I had an event and someone wanted to talk to me about the business. As it turned out he was sick from the Thursday until Sunday, so he contacted me this morning and set up a quick appointment for 6p right before the event! I’m excited to talk with him.

A prospect contacted me about changing her presentation tomorrow morning to Thursday. The wonderful thing about this meeting is that she wants me to present to her and 2 other people who are interested in starting a business. The cool thing is that one is from Jamaica and the other is from England! Thankfully my company operates in both countries and delivers to over 200. If you are open to learn more about the company, contact me!

The Kind of Woman I Wanted To Be

The Kind of Woman I Wanted To Be

Looking back on my 10 declared majors, countless seminars, job hopping, network marketing experiences, many ideas, and partnerships; I knew I wanted to change the world. This is an ambitious and idealistic thought, but a Good One. Now I’m starting to make a difference in my community while helping others.

Back then I didn’t know what I had to do. I was open to everything. I rarely took jobs that weren’t service oriented (whether public-facing or in-company) and in those instances either quickly worked myself out of a job (in far less time that the company thought it would take), threatened a higher up with the thought that I was trying to steal their position, or circumstances forced me out (the company going out of business, employees stealing my sales, or was laid off due to the industry tanking).

The positions, I was let go from, were small to medium fast growing companies where I got to make outdated systems scalable, had to work with hundreds of people daily to solve problems, AND had the independence to do what I thought would work. I preferred positions that didn’t have fixed duties, and I had free reign to get projects done. These positions made me think for myself, let me be creative, and later recognized me for my accomplishments. Some didn’t pay all that well in the beginning. However, as I showed my capabilities I started receiving more and I could afford to live in a 2 bedroom rental apartment in Santa Monica, had enough to pay for day care and basic needs, AND had some extra to save!

What most people don’t understand is that I LOVE working, I LOVE challenges, and I LOVE helping others! I don’t care about my title (although I have had a few amazing ones). Money is not my motivator. (It’s good to get but it doesn’t wake me in the middle of the night to solve a problem I was pouring over at work.) I don’t want the beautiful corner office. (One of my favorite jobs was a door to door sales person) I LOVE looking back and taking stock of what I have accomplished. (Training sales people was fun! Revamping the whole registration system to accommodate more than 250 attendees was challenging! Designing an automated system to underwrite applicants was entertaining!) I LOVE knowing I made a difference!

Entrepreneurs are the unemployable.

Real estate Bestselling Author Robert Allen also said that the average person simply doesn’t understand” and that is ok. My job as an entrepreneur is to solve problems while showing others it can be done. The problem that I’m busy solving right now is building up and enriching my community.

I was reading a “comic” strip that someone had posted that really irked me. The basic idea was I’m helpless pity me! I had to comment and in the end stated that I don’t find it funny or that people (especially Americans – sorry I’ve lived here most of my life and this is what I see) feel entitled and just want to wallow in their self pity. It bothered me that someone before me said that it was funny then went on a rant about how people need to trust in god to bring what we need. I’m not putting down any religion; however, I think many people need to get off their behinds and do something. We are taught by the school system, government, and media that we are helpless to make a difference. Choose strength and empowerment!

If we are just to go along for the ride the future looks VERY BLEAK! President Obama, our first black president, has shown people that regardless of skin color anyone can make it into office! I think he has done much in the way of helping this country and our misperceived limitations; but there is still much more that we the people need to decide for ourselves AND have the courage to do something that can make a difference.

Did you (Americans) notice that when the media was going on and on about how our economy was as bad as The Great Depression, people were still driving luxury cars, taking nice vacations and sending their kids to participate in extracurricular activities? I know millions lost their homes and jobs. Sadly a large chunk of those couldn’t find another job or if they did they were underemployed as it couldn’t support their lifestyles. Think of the new college grads competing with seasoned employees for entry level positions. I think one of the first things we as a community need to do is figure out what is truly important and decide to move towards it.

I didn’t know what I wanted to do, but I knew the kind of woman I wanted to be.

Today I work as a Professional Network Marketer who’s main focus is to work with non-profit organizations by implement fundraising initiatives that financially benefit supporters. These initiatives bring added income to local business owners, health professionals, and entrepreneurs. The company brings better products which are cost effective to consumers. Most importantly it leverages the community’s population to build something much bigger! All the while NOT ASKING SUPPORTERS TO REACH INTO THEIR POCKETS TO GIVE MONEY! Can you imagine helping a non-profit by earning money AND saving money while teaching others to do the same?

There are quite a few legitimate network marketing companies that are making a true difference in people’s lives. Are you going to follow the ignorant masses who really have no idea of what network marketing is or are you ready to educate and empower yourself?

This week I’m speaking with a very influential man. He has the power to decide if a couple hundred non-profits in South Florida can utilize this program. Recently I put my WHY into words. I love the fact that as I’m saying my WHY I feel my heart sings! I feel exhilarated and have purpose!

My WHY? Be a Leader in Building Thriving Communities and empowering others to do the same in their area

Today was a day to fully wake up. I went to a Fantastic BNI meeting – I recommend everyone join a BNI if they are a business owner or professional. I got to meet 24 professionals and had an interesting time talking about myself. Another thing I got were 3 referrals.

Then I went to my son’s middle school for a PTSA meeting that was rescheduled. I had a great time. I got to speak to the principle and a few of the office staff. When I gave the magnet advisor my card and explained why I wanted to talk to the PTSA she got SO EXCITED! She was blown away with how I utilize my company to help non-profits with fundraising and help their supporters earn an extra income.

Tomorrow I have 23 local elementary, k-8, and middle school PTA/PTSAs, 5 local charities which focus on music (orchestral and choral), swimming (for young kids – Florida is the leading state for childhood drowning), and abuse towards kids (physical, emotional, and sexual), and a couple churches to contact.

I think I’ve found my life’s passion. I enjoy working with people and teaching others “a Better Way of Life”. Now the courage to talk to people who have no understanding of what I do.

Embracing My Reality

Embracing My Reality

Do you wake up every morning with a spring in your step, eager to face the world? Or were you like me who hated my job, had to bear an 45 minute commute and deal with the office politics, drab ambiance and negative attitudes? I really didn’t like what I was doing as I didn’t feel challenged or like I was making a difference in my community.

I had settled for this reality for too long. I took a leap of faith on network marketing. Losing my way there also. I enjoyed the public speaking, the helping others build extra income, and the talking with random people. What I didn’t like was seeing a person need help but was too afraid to take it, believe that they had “job security”, and think that network marketing was just about retail.

In the past couple weeks I’ve embraced my true purpose in life and reality. I’m a visionary and leader. Eric Worre had taught me in his Insanity Bootcamp that people look at me then my campaign THEN my business opportunity. I love helping others and making a positive difference that can me measured. Thankfully have found a few divisions within my company that allows me to build my community.

Do you know a charity that needs help fundraising? Do you know any non profits that could use extra money? Is your child in school with a PTA or PTSA that is asking you to sell chocolates, wrapping paper or useless nick knacks to have a bigger budget to improve the quality of school life? The NPO division gives non profit organizations the ability to earn royalties without having their supporters pull extra money out of their pockets than what they are already spending!

Do you know a health professional who is struggling? Are you a health professional who is frustrated with your profit margin? Feeling overwhelmed with your insurance, payroll and other monthly costs just to stay open? Do you get questions from your current clientele about supplements and just referred them to the local drug store? The Nutrametrix product line is made specifically for helping licensed health professionals build a strong foundation and promote health to their clientele through education and supplements.

Do you know anyone who is passionate to help others become healthy? Do you know anyone who is overweight and just spinning their wheels in losing weight? TLS product line is made specifically to educate and promote living a healthy lifestyle.

Are you a seasoned employee who is now unemployed? Were you laid off because your job is now being outsourced? Are you a grad coming out of college without a job? Don’t you think it’s time for a change? Some companies have already changing work from hourly pay to salary knowing that the average person will put in 5 – 15 extra hours just to get their work done while not get extra compensation. I think in communities there should be basic skills training to succeed in network marketing as this is where the money is and these skills can be used in other industries. The main business Market America gives people the freedom to be their own boss.

My next posts will go deeper in details for each division and how it can benefit you, someone you know AND your community.

Better Attitude

Better Attitude

When I started my network marketing career my focus was on how can I earn money. I forgot my attitude that it doesn’t matter how much I make as long as I enjoy what I’m doing. Over the months the work got to be really hard and I felt like I was stalling. With school recently starting and PTSA/PTAs needing assistance raising money, I turned my attention to helping my community’s non profit organizations.

With this I don’t have to bother my friends and family to buy things they don’t want or need, get exposed to hundreds in my community, and feel great helping others. To top it off I earn a living talking with and helping people.

I left a good paying job that was not fulfilling and life draining. With a leap of faith that network marketing works, a desire to make a difference in other people’s lives and the knowing that I can do so much more I found so much more! I look forward to every meeting. I look forward to talking with people. AND I never feel like I’m imposing as I truly have something that helps my community and those who contact me!

If you know of a non profit organization that needs help fund raising please have them contact me. I will gladly assist!

Duplicatability Overrated, Helping Charities

Standard

My experience in Network Marketing is that when I have an idea that reflects my personality and abilities some of my senior partners will basically slap me down with “not being duplicatable”. I appreciate that there are some tried and true skills and systems that I can utilize, but being that my goals, personality and abilities are different isn’t it normal that some of my approaches be original? My team is open to the initiatives that I’m launching and want guidance to start duplicating what I’m doing.

I’m working with some of the local PTSAs and nonprofits that my son is a part of earn a potential of $187,200 annually in royalties without them having to ask supporters for money outright! How many charities do you know that can use the extra money? The process is simple and it takes time to build momentum but this is doable! Contact me to help local charities.
